When harsh words sting a lovely heart.
But peace is restored in season,
When in tears, courage begets;
Words that hope, words that restore.
And the guilty one is amazed,
At the strength of the wronged.
Thanking God for such a spirit,
As realization dawns on the son of man,
That this kind of beauty never fades,
As eternal, as the face of God.
